題 目: Sustainable Lubrication Modeling for Vehicle Electrification:
Leveraging Advanced Models
概 要:
The lecture provides an insight into sustainable lubrication strategies for vehicles in the age of electrification, employing advanced models like Gene Expression Programming and a reversed-hierarchical multi-scale approach. It underscores the significance of tackling challenges in lubrication science, especially as vehicles increasingly utilize fossil-based lubricants for moving parts, contradicting sustainability aims.
The emphasis is on transitioning to renewable resources, particularly by refining vegetable oil-based lubricants through chemical processes to enhance their stability. Models such as Gene Expression Programming aid in comprehending how different compositions impact friction in these lubricants.
Shifting away from traditional additives, which typically contain sulfur and phosphorus compounds, towards more sustainable alternatives for electrical applications is crucial. However, operationalizing these ‘green’ additives poses challenges. To bridge the gap between theory and practical application, the reversed-hierarchical multi-scale model integrates various force laws, offering a distinct approach to assessing additive impact within the broader system.
Overall, the lecture emphasizes the necessity for researchers to adapt their methodologies to meet the demand for more sustainable vehicle technologies. Leveraging sophisticated models like Gene Expression Programming and the reversed-hierarchical multi-scale approach is pivotal in understanding and implementing sustainable lubrication strategies within the realm of vehicle electrification.
