Future Value Creation Center, GSI-NU held the visiting scientist’s lecture meeting on September 7.

Dr. Emre Sezgin, a visiting scientist from the Research Institute of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio, USA, joined the visiting faculty of the Future Value
Creation Research Center of the Graduate School of Informatics, Nagoya University, for two month on July, 2017 – based on the data research exchange program agreed
by Nagoya University and the Ohio State University on March this year.
He gave a final talk, titled ” Driving safety for adolescents: Technology-based intervention & solutions” on September 7th. He described a
smartphone-based approach for improving teens driving behavior, including
gamification techniques, and we had active technical discussions after the talk.
